Who we are

Marketing Friends is a service of Zuidijk & marketingpartners, trading as Marketing Friends, known in English as Marketing Friends, Hohenheimstraat 66, 7323 RP Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, Dutch Chamber of Commerce KvK 76676528, VAT NL860741205B01. Which data and why

• Enquiry, intake and waiting list: your name, company, email, phone, website and what you tell us. To contact you and send you a plan and quote.
• Website scan: the address of the website you scan and the result. To show you the scan and make your plan.
• Orders: your name, company, email and the order. Payment is handled by Mollie. We do not see any bank or card details. We keep this for our accounts.
• Client portal: your name, email and an encrypted password. To let you log in.
• Questions and comments: your name, email and your message. We only publish a comment after approval, with only your first name or the name you gave.
• WhatsApp: if you send us a message, we only use your number and message to reply to you.

The legal basis is your consent or the performance of a contract. For our accounts it is a legal obligation.

Data of our clients' customers

For our clients we manage their website, forms, CRM and email. For this we are the processor and our client is the controller. We sign a data processing agreement for this. Want to know what happens to your data? Ask the organisation where you filled in the form.

With their permission we read data from Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta for clients. Only to improve their marketing and report on it. The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Cookies and analytics

Without your choice we only place what is needed to make the site work. For example your cookie choice and what you read in the knowledge base. This stays in your own browser.

If you choose "Accept", we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to measure how the site is used. Without advertising and without selling your data. If you choose "Necessary only", we measure nothing. You can always change your choice via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

Who we share with

We never sell your data. We only share it with parties we need: Leaseweb for our server in the Netherlands, Postmark for email, Mollie for payments and, if you allow it, Google and Microsoft for analytics. We have agreements with each of them about your data.

How long we keep data

• An enquiry that does not lead to becoming a client: no more than 1 year.
• Client data: for as long as you are a client and after that for as long as the law requires. For our accounts that is 7 years.
• Waiting list: until you unsubscribe or become a client, and no more than 1 year.

Your rights

You can ask which data we hold about you. You can have it corrected or deleted, object to its use or have it transferred. Email hallo@zuidijk.mp. You will hear from us within two working days.

Not happy with how we handle your data? Then you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Security

Your data is stored encrypted on our own server in the Netherlands. Connections are secured. Only people who need it have access.
