Frequently asked questions: content and newsletter

9 questions about content and newsletters that we hear a lot. With a short and honest answer.

What is a good landing page?

A page with one goal. For example a quote request. The heading matches the ad or the search term. It shows proof like reviews. And the button is easy to see right away.

What is a call-to-action?

The sentence or button that asks the visitor to do something. For example "Request a quote". Without a clear call-to-action visitors leave without getting in touch.

Does a newsletter still work?

Yes. Especially for the customers you already have. A customer who hears from you every month will call you when they need you again. One newsletter a month is enough.

What do I put in a newsletter?

A tip that really helps your customer. A recent project or customer story. And one clear button. Keep it short. Most readers look at it for less than a minute.

Can I just send a newsletter to anyone?

No. Under the GDPR you need permission. Or the person is already a customer and can easily unsubscribe. We make sure the sign-up is done properly.

How do I write a text that Google and customers understand?

Start with the question or problem of your customer. Write short and concrete texts. Use the words your customer uses. End with what the reader can do now.

What is E-E-A-T?

Experience, expertise, authority and trust. Google checks if you show that you know what you are talking about. Real projects and reviews help. So does showing who is behind the business.

Do I need video on my website?

You do not have to. But it helps. A short video of your work or of yourself builds trust. A one-minute phone video often works better than an expensive production.

How long should a text on my website be?

As long as it takes to answer your customer's question well. For a service page 400 to 800 words is often enough. Length alone does not help. A clear answer does.
