What is the Meta pixel?
The Meta pixel is a small piece of code on your website. It shows Meta what visitors from your ads do on your site.
With the pixel Meta knows who sent an enquiry or bought something. Meta uses this to learn which people respond best.
Without a pixel you are advertising blind. You only see clicks. Not whether they turn into customers.
The pixel uses cookies. That is why it must be in your cookie banner and only work after consent.
Real-life example
An installer added the pixel and now tracks every quote request. Since then Meta shows his ad more often to people who really want a quote.
