What is GA4?
GA4 stands for Google Analytics 4. It is Google's free tool that shows how many visitors you have and what they do.
You see where visitors come from. For example from Google, from Instagram or through a newsletter.
Even more important: you can measure who gets in touch. Those are called conversions. Then you know which channel brings customers.
GA4 uses cookies. So set it up properly in your cookie banner and use Consent Mode.
Real-life example
A charity saw in GA4 that most donations came through the newsletter. Not through Facebook. It now puts more time into its newsletter.
