What is local SEO?
Local SEO is SEO for customers in your own region. You want to be found when someone searches for your service plus your town.
Many searches include a place. "Roofer Manchester" or "painter Salford". Or Google adds the place itself because it knows where someone is.
For local SEO you need three things. A complete Google Business Profile. Pages on your site that mention your service area. And reviews from local customers.
Real-life example
A roofer from Manchester also works in Salford. With a separate page for Salford and reviews from customers there he also shows up in Salford.
