What is indexing?
Indexing means Google has added your page to its list. Only indexed pages can appear in the search results.
Google first visits your page with a robot. Then it decides if the page is good enough to include. That step is called indexing.
In Google Search Console you see which pages are indexed. And why others are not. Often it is about duplicate pages or pages with too little content.
You can speed up indexing. Request it in Search Console or use IndexNow for Bing and other search engines.
Real-life example
Type "site:" into Google followed by your domain name. Then you see roughly which of your pages are indexed.
