What is UX?
UX stands for user experience. It is how pleasant and easy your website is for a visitor. Also called usability.
You don't notice good UX. Everything works the way you expect. You do notice bad UX. You search for a button or a text is too small on your phone.
UX is about questions like: can I quickly find what I am looking for? Is the text easy to read? Does everything work on my phone? Do I know what the next step is?
UX and CRO go together. A website that works well brings in more enquiries. Google also sees if people leave quickly.
The easiest way to test UX is to let someone else use your website. Watch and say nothing. Where does that person hesitate?
Real-life example
A charity had a donation form with twelve questions. Many people gave up halfway. With four questions many more people made a donation.
